Historical significance:
Maroneia was famous in antiquity for its wine production, which explains the grape/vine imagery on the reverse. Horse motifs were also common in Thracian coinage and symbolized prestige and regional identity.

Authentic ancient Greek bronze with clear horse detail visible on obverse. Reverse is worn but still attributable to the Maroneia vine/grape type. Natural ancient patina with honest circulation wear and strong ancient character.
